Joana Marcelino, is a Portuguese architect, with great passion for art and that feeling is reflected in everything she does in life. She believes that projects should be developed according to the person and the place, combining always architecture, fashion, design and art. Joana Marcelino Studio is an inter-disciplinary architectural design practice which works internationally providing architecture, interior, master planning, graphic, and product design services.
Joana's designs have a very strong identity and she always works in very close cooperation with diverse craftsmen striving together for the best solution.

Joana has extensive experience in the residential area. She has designed marble and ceramic collections for Lovetiles, Pavigrés and Pedrantiqua and a mirror for a Belgian design editor - Per/Use - presented at Biennale Interieur Kortrijk, Belgium and at Salone Del MobIle, Milan. One of his most innovative projects are BP's two petrol stations in Leiria.
Recently it launched a new area in the Studio: flower design along with a collection of decorative and tableware. This project which he called Flower&Ceramics is born in a year in which there is an evident need for reinvention, transformation, creativity.
In the context of 100% Portuguese and 100% handmade ceramics in defense of the national production of the valorization of handmade ceramics, this project brings to the Portuguese tables a lot of personality, new textures, colours and environments that bring more tranquility.
